The excavations at the thermae area of the military vicus of "Bumbeşti-Jiu Vârtop" uncovered the foundations of some river stone buildings. The archaeological inventory consists of metal and ceramic materials, coarsewares made by hand or by wheel, glass sherds and a bronze coin which cannot be determined. This material dates to the 2nd century A.D.
