Gërmimi u përqëndrua nё zonat K1 dhe K2, të cilat zbuluan plotësisht dyshemenë e një stukture të shtruar me njё mozaik shumёngjyrёsh, me motive gjeometrike, floreale dhe zoomorfe. Duke u bazuar në teknikën dhe materialin e ndërtimit si dhe në stilistikën e motiveve, mozaiku ka gjasa qё ti pёrkasi periudhës së Antikitetit tё Vonё. Në shtresat arkeologjike të kuadrateve të gërmimit, u gjetёn fragmente tjegullash dhe enёsh gatimi qё datojnë në periudhat e Antikitetit tё Vonё dhe Mesjetёs (shekulli 12-15 m.Kr.), duke pёrfshirё dhe disa fragmente qeramike tё periudhёs Osmane.

en During the 2004 archaeological field season, excavations were also undertaken within the medieval monastery of Saint Mary, located in the vicinity of the ancient site of Apolonia. The excavations carried out at areas K1 and K2 revealed entirely the polychrome mosaic floor of an ancient structure. The mosaics motives include geometric, floral and zoomorphic figures. Based on the technique, materials and design style used in the construction, this mosaic is likely to date to the Late Roman period. In the archaeological layers of the excavated trenches, fragments of tiles and pottery wares of the Late Roman and Medieval (12-15th Centuries) periods were revealed, including several pottery fragments of the Ottoman periods.
