Abstract
Dynamics of collapse of a building are one of the most complex processes to understand in archaeology, so their re-construction is only possible facing different lines of research at the same time. This paper describes the case-study of a collapse of a painted room in a middle imperial building of the ancient city of Nora (Sardinia) and aims to validate a combined analysis of archaeological, technical and iconographic data as the only way to get a trustworthy reconstruc-tion of the paintings.
