Summary
- The Madaba Plains Project studies long-term cultural and environmental changes in the highland plateau located between the cities of Madaba and Amman in the country of Jordan. This is the umbrella project for several related and overlapping survey projects done over the years, made around the sites of Hisban, Jalul and Umayri (see: http://www.casa.arizona.edu/MPP/graphics/mppsurvs.gif)
