Summary
- In an area of formerly large copper deposits, the project aims to document man's adaptation to a semi-arid environment. Includes several projects: the Wadi Faynan Landscape Survey (Barker, Mattingly and Gilbertson); The Wadi Faynan 4th/3rd Millenium Project (Wright); The Wadi Faynan-Wadi Ghuwayr Early Prehistory Project (Finlayson and Mithen); Wadi Faynan Classical Survey (Freeman); Wadi Faynan South Cemetery Project.
