Summary
- The goal of the Kavousi Project was to reconstruct as thoroughly as possible the culture of the Vronda and Kastro communities at this transitional period between the Minoan and Greek cultures and define their relationship to each other and to the rest of Crete; to this end, Donald Haggis was asked to conduct an archaeological survey that would provide the diachronic pattern of settlement in the Kavousi area. -preface Haggis et al. 2005
